Don't happy be worry - I'm doing this wrong

It occurred to me over the weekend that I'm not living life correctly.
I am (like a lot of entrepreneurs) guilty of delaying my own happiness until 'X' happens. I've been doing it for years.
When you don't have as much success (time, money, freedom etc) as you'd like. It's easy to think if I only had more of X then I'll be happy.
But the solution is counter intuitive. If you can't enjoy what you have now then having more is not going to make you happier. Regardless of where you are on the scale, you'll always be looking to the future for your happiness.
That's a terrible place to store your happiness... I want to be happy now.
I've realised that even though I don't have millions of dollars (yet). I have enough to make my life more enjoyable.
I'll give you an example, maybe your dream is become a Scuba diver and witness the the beauty and mysteries that the ocean holds. You don't need thousands of dollars to buy your own tanks, wetsuit, gauges, regulators, flippers (and maybe even the entire dive boat).
You can register for an introductory dive, rent their equipment and have a potentially life changing experience for a couple of hundred dollars.
I don't want to let another year (or decade) slip by while I wait to be happy.
My plan is to enjoy what I have now.
Then if things are going well for future me - Maybe my SaaS business gains traction or a book launch goes well. Then I'll be able to enjoy the same core experiences in life but on the next level. Ie, replacing renting with buying, small trips with longer trips etc.
It's time to start enjoying life.
