I need to increase my output

I need to increase my output. I'm not afraid of hard work. I'm used to putting long hours in. But I need to increase my output the the time I'm putting in.
I'm thinking the best way to do this is to start the day with a clear list of what I want to accomplish. The clearer the picture the faster I can jump into the tasks.
Then I want to get in the habit of coding faster. This will be a combination of growing as a programmer and practice.
I'm currently coding at a glacial pace, compared to others on the team at work. This is mostly due to my relative inexperience. But I've also gotten into the habit of 'chipping away' at at ticket.
I want to replace this with fast bursts of code where I cover a lot of ground then rest.
So I guess if my coding efforts resembled a physical exercise. I want these sessions to look more like 100m sprints. I want to cover more ground in less time.
I'm going to look into this further.
More to come...
