I'm totally addicted to YouTube.
After 1000's of hours YouTube's algorithms have got me dialled in. I can't stop watching the endless streams of newly suggested content.
It's getting in the way my content creation. Which is not good. Over the years I've largely abandoned social media (Twitter excluded). Blocked news websites in my browsers and generally tried to keep media consumption as intentional as possible.
The thought of sitting around watching pre programmed television that I'm not watching intentionally is unbearable. But I'll habitually consume everything YouTube 'suggests' for hours on end.
I don't think I can cut it completely out of my life as it has so much useful content.
I'll have to figure this out, maybe a browser extension or similar can help.
