I recently picked up a French press and have been enjoying a slightly elevated coffee experience than my regular instant brew.
This has lead to drinking more coffee than I would otherwise drink though... The French press makes more like 2.5 coffees.
I'm no good to anyone once I'm over caffeinated so I've returned to drinking a single large Green tea instead.
It wakes me up without over doing it. Green tea has roughly half the caffeine levels as well.
So if I need another drink later in the day I'm more or less 'flattening the curve' of my caffeine intake. Which appeals to me.
